Mr. Han Meilin graduated from Dyeing & Weaving Department of the Central Academy of Arts and Design in 1960, and he is especially good at color mixing and decoration. He draws the marrow of Chinese folk art and the culture dating back to the period before Han Dynasty, and displays those elements in his works in modern art forms.
Known as an industrious explorer and practioner of art, Mr. Han Meilin would never stop his steps and he extended to a broader perspective of techniques design. Whether the mahogany table with beautiful embroideries, or red sandalwood engraving 560 different patterns of arhats, or those cute and naïve cloth tigers, are unique and in various forms and also has a rich flavor of modern life.
