2025年1月9日,“济南韩美林艺术馆”在泉城广场揭幕,正式开馆。这是继杭州、北京、银川三座综合性展馆、宜兴专题艺术馆之后,在国内建立的第五座陈列展示韩美林个人作品的艺术馆。
从2005年第一座韩美林艺术馆成立,到今天济南韩美林艺术馆的落成,运河两端,长城连线,中华大地的东西南北中,已矗立起五座韩美林艺术馆。“一个韩美林,五地艺术馆”,五馆面积之大,作品之多,涉及艺术门类之广,堪称当代艺术家中的“世界之最”。
中央美术学院艺术管理和教育学院副院长、“韩美林全球巡展”总策展人、韩美林艺术基金会理事赵力教授,为“济南韩美林艺术馆”撰写馆记。

济南韩美林艺术馆落成记
海岱惟青,河荥自济。登莱外开,玄枵上耀。师尚授因民之训,仲尼论变道之谈。盛哉!旧邦阐新,古风迪尚。大邑蕴色,连陵积高。泉潴错布,乃引品物之萃流。带砺永宁,必有仁贤之藩守。故川泽致渊,龙必归焉。礼义成化,士必生焉。今韩公美林,动静依仁,从容在艺,润身富屋,而臻峰巅,其良有以也欤。
岁在阏逢执徐,月应黄钟之律。百姓惠承,咸曰安堵。明府文治,罔不辑和。于是求化性怡情之塗,兴问知育美之术。图画亮章之馆乃开,琳琅圭璧之台遂筑。远瞻则其庭其楹,棘如而正。其殿其室,窈然其深,风貌典雅,气势轩昂。内观则负扆挂栋,咸陈随和之珍。陈物摹形,尽奋吴顾之笔。刻雕惟美而生,图绘则神而溢。陶泥乎抱朴而一,镌石乃含章可贞。其线之纷纶也,追惊鸿之翩若。其色之繁復也,竞旭霭之灼然。若夫其境之所造也,积健为雄,以超乎象外之密。遣倕之巧,而入于自然之精。诚春松秋菊之难拟,果沆瀣朝霞之可餐也。
遘兹馆阁新成,胜仪恭列。济济羣贤,谈艺未央。芸芸民众,赏奇若醉。实艺林高致之罕有,文苑伟业之无匹。惟冀德邻不孤,灵运永炳。人心归美,大道化成。故愿有述焉而恭记之。又从而歌之曰:灏穹悬象兮人事臧嘉,河岱钟灵兮踵事增华,德基永固兮景行高遐。

A Chronicle on the Inauguration of Han Meilin Art Museum
In Shandong Province, a land of milk and honey, the Bohai Sea and Mount Tai exhibit their distinctive hues in a verdant style, while the Yellow River and the Xinghe River flow with grace posture. Dengzhou and Laizhou are both adjacent to the ocean to connect the world, illuminated by Xuanxiao Star shining brightly in the sky. Here, the sage Jiang Ziya taught the monarchs to comply with the aspirations of the people; Confucius expounded on the Way of Changes. What a flourishing scene! Now this time-honored place, where various states rose and fell, takes a new look, with ancient prevailing custom inspiring new trends. Bustling cities set among dazzling landscapes. Undulating mountains add to the overwhelming grandeur. Springs converge and distribute, attracting wonderful things to blend together in a brocade of landscape painting. Mountains and rivers vary from era to era yet tranquility remains boldly the main melody, indicating the existence of the benevolent and wise dedicated to protection. Therefore, rivers, lakes and marshes of all sizes form deep pools, where dragons are bound to reside. Etiquette and morality pave the way for enlightenment, portending the inevitable rise of the wise. Mr. Han Meilin, a contemporary master whose behaviors at all times take root in benevolence, is calmly and sophisticatedly engaged in the arts. He cultivates himself to a higher realm and possesses abundant talent of uncommon brilliance, symbolizing the pinnacle of art world, which is self-evident and well-proven as explained as above.
This year of 2024 corresponds to the year of Heavenly Stem Yanfeng and Earthly Branch Zhixu, aligning with the month of Huangzhong Tone. The people are blessed and feel satisfied with their peaceful life. The local officials implement good governance, ensuring harmony within jurisdiction. Therefore, the people try their best to find the methods to mold characters and uplift spirits, and explore ways to acquire knowledge and cultivate virtue. Under this background, a bright pavilion, dedicated to displaying paintings, is open to the outside world. A jade-like platform is constructed in echo with people’s expectations. From afar, the picturesque courtyards and pillars appear neat and straight. The grand halls and rooms are spacious and elegant, with a dignified and imposing style. Inside Han Meilin Art Museum, folding screens and beams showcase precious treasures. The exhibits in display, without exception, demonstrate the super brushwork skills on a par with Wu Daozi and Gu Kaizhi. Sculptures are crafted in pursuit of beauty, while paintings are steeped with vigor. Pottery artworks look unadorned in a unified style, while stone carvings imply delicate and upright connotations. The intricate lines catch a glimpse of a passing beauty. The rich and varied colors resemble the brilliance of the rising sun and rosy clouds. The realm, created in this way, is majestic and vigorous, surpassing the finest images. Craftsmanship skillfully probes into the subtleties of the Nature. Indeed, in terms of aesthetic characteristics, Han Meilin Art Museum marks incomparable accomplishments like the pines in spring and chrysanthemums in autumn, which is certainly as intoxicating as aloft mist and morning dawn.
A grand ceremony is respectfully arranged in tribute to this new building – Han Meilin Art Museum, with numerous able and virtuous personages gathering in spirits to debate over the endless possibilities of art, and the crowds absolutely captivated by the spectacular exhibits. Living up to its reputation, Han Meilin Art Museum is a rare elegance in the aesthetics realm and an unparalleled achievement in the art world. It is expected that all men of high moral quality will never feel lonely, as inspiration and good fortune will always shine upon them. People yearn for the good, crystallizing the greatest truths. For this reason, I wish to give vent to my innermost thoughts and respectfully record them. Moreover, I sing in praise of the vast heaven studded with stars above the glorious human world, the charming Yellow River and Mount Tai witnessing the continuing legendary undertaking, and the solid moral foundation advocating moral virtue for all.
